Entry-level graphics cards based on Radeon RX 6500XT and RX 6400 RDNA2 listed with 4GB GDDR6 (update)

Navi 24 could soon see the light of day. Japanese dataminer @KOMACHI ENSAKA claims to have discovered the first listings of Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, which have yet to be released.

According to a series of tweets from KOMACHI, there are reference lists of Radeon RX 6500XT and RX 6400 with 4 GB of GDDR6 memory available in the market. Its statement is vague as to where these listings could be obtained (for example, from an online store or a manufacturer’s website). Such a claim, on the other hand, would imply that AMD developed its first RDNA2 GPUs with a memory capacity of less than 8 GB (RX 6600XT). So there was no clarification as to how or where the two video cards came from, but the leak official revealed that they each contain 4GB of GDDR6 RAM. Navi 24 would get 16 compute units which are at most 1024 stream processors.

It is not known when AMD plans to release its Navi 24 graphics cards.

Update: Navi 24 and mobile graphics accelerators based on it already receive driver support in Linux. The Radeon RX 6500M and RX 6300M models are already included in the driver, and the performance class will also appear as a Pro / Workstation solution. There are no further technical details, but the image of the new, even smaller RDNA-2 graphics cards is showing up piece by piece.
